Phone found inside prisoners Bum

A sri Lankan prisoner who tried to sneak a phone into his cell was caught after the phone rang inside his bum after a visit. The 58 year old was taken to the hospital where the phone had to be removed from inside his bum.

The prisoner is serving 10 years in prison for theft. Why not leave the phone on silent?
